Eds, many media outlets are reporting that RVP is on the verge of joining Fenerbahce. Any substance in these rumours? Are united actively looking to sell him? Thank you

{Ed007's Note - Yes.}

They are quite shamelessly hawking around every club in Eurpope hoping that someone will buy him. He is gone

Gets him off wage bill, we don't need a sulking rvp making a nuisance in the dressing room

how are they shamelessly hawking him around, he has asked the club to find him a new club as he is not guaranteed first team football anymore,

it suits both parties if we sell him.

spb He does not want to leave and would happily see out his contract. He has definitely not asked to leave. You are mistaken

Is that an imposter above or the real KLOOT? Almost missed as much as Ed002 on this page. I will get my jesters hat on just for you kloot if it's you, seeing as you used to accuse mr of wearing one.

Of course he would like to see out his contract, doesn't he get a £12 million loyalty payment then.
Just saying

Shame if it's true about van persie. He was in fine form when Fergie was in charge , maybe van gaal,s style of play doesn't fit van persie . still a bit of a worry that we are letting decent squad players leave with out too many replacements comming in.
Like I said in an earlier post , fingers crossed there is plenty of wheeling and dealing going on behind closed doors .
And I don't mean ed china and mike brewer.
Cheers

kloot from what i have heard he has spoken to lvg and was told he isn't guaranteed first team football on a regular basis anymore, and lvg was happy to keep him as backup, which something rvp wasn't 100 percent happy with.

The two big issues for RVP seem to be playing regularly and his kids schooling. He is unlikely to be playing regularly at MU and IMO he comes across as a bit of a fair weather player so i would not be heartbroken to see him go. Surely if he does it will leave us light up front unless we have someone as good already in the bag.
Regarding Fenerbace, is this going to tick the box for his kids? Merely posing the questions.
