The former had of Marca, Eduardo Inda saying Pogba will be a Real Madrid player by next week.
80m plus Bale.
Sounds like bs as we have no interest in Bale.

pogba needs to be sold and the sooner the better for all parties

if bale would be injury free he is class when he's on form but that's a big if.

would solve the rw position but its one of those, bale opens a massive debate up on here.

forgot to add,

he will be 30 this month he's in the final years of his footballing life

would much rather stay clear of bale and look and someone younger who can develop.

I just hope the Pogba debacle does not drag on all the way through this transfer window, don't want us to end up in panic mode again, Remember the Fellani signing.

Bring bale in. Could be like another cantona signing, boosts the whole squad.

Inda also says Kroos will be part of the deal but that part wasn't quoted.

They value Bale at £90m.

Seems far fetched.

In fantasy world would people rather have
1. Paul Pogba
or
2. Bale (RW) + Kroos (CM) + £80m.

Personally i prefer the €60 + Dybala deal. Send The mouth back to Turin and bring in a player that wants to fight his team. I believe Dybala would be great at OT and in the prem.

The second option is mouth watering.

I’d prefer Kroos + 80m to Bale and Kroos + 80m.

We already have one player on massive wages that seems to spend most of his time injured and could do without having another. The wages being paid to Sanchez have created a lot of issues and doubling down by signing Bale would make things worse. By all accounts, Real want shot of Bale and so the idea of paying them anything to help them get his wages off their books isn’t one I’d even consider entertaining. Let them pay him to play golf for another few years.

Bake injury free and point to prove would be short term asset but not help the attempt to keep wages in line. As loan maybe
Kroos I have always liked but can't see he fits well in PL but maybe with someone to be his legs could work
Just pay up or give us someone like Assensio.

I can see the temptation with the Bale rumour. I can’t imagine Real are going to have the money to outright buy Pogba at £120-150 million or whatever we value him.
If you could get £80 million plus Bale and get a tune out of him then letting Lukaku go to Inter without replacing wouldn’t be the end of the world. Martial, Rashford, Bale and Sanchez would have goals in them if Ole can get a system going.
Invest heavily in midfield and a CB ( my preference would be Fernandes. Ndidi and Issa Diop) then see how we go.

Also having Bale about would be great for the new lad James.

Bale = Sanches mk2.

Id personally rather neither both are at the wrong end of there career on mass mass wages. Bale would see us as a step down and doesn't want to leave madrid so would be pointless. Plus his injury record and wage demand would be up there with sanchez and cause more issues in the long term. Kroos i personally feel wouldn't handle the pace of the prem at all. he's too old now to be coming to our league again would want mass wages. i'd rather young up and coming lads we can build a team round rather than instant signings that haven't worked for the last 5 years. Real stump up to our price straight cash thanks.

Bale has been told that he has no future at the club.

His response is that he doesn’t care because he’s happy with his life in Madrid.

How can people think that signing him will be anything other than a disaster?
Do we even have a proper golf course up here?

14.) 04 Jul 2019
04 Jul 2019 19:35:06
He obviously isn't going to budge on his wages. He wants to play football but isn't getting used and abused by Real when they want rid. He will want to play in the Euros if Wales get there, so sitting out a season isn't going to help his chances.

15.) 04 Jul 2019
04 Jul 2019 19:37:34
Pogba is useless to us at the moment so I would be delighted with any of them deals. Bale at his best on the right would be better than any other player we have in our forward line. We aren’t very good anyway so worth a go imo, I understand everybody’s arguments against it though.

16.) 04 Jul 2019
04 Jul 2019 20:29:06
FZZ I can’t see Wales leaving him out even if he sits on the bench for a season, he’s still their best player.

We’re currently the 6th best team in the PL and playing Europa League next season with possibly only Rashford as a recognised striker (which is questionable) and people are turning up their noses at Bale and Kroos. Bale on his day is up there with the best and can produce brilliance and the other has won titles with Bayern, Real and Germany. One of the best midfielders of the last 10 years. Yes they are both in the twilight of their careers but we can’t keep buying 21 year olds and compete. We need some leadership, class and experience. Not one player in our current squad had that.

2toms i'm not turning my nose up at either my queston would be how would the 2 you name be any different from signing bastian and di maria? At the time bastian was what kroos is now as was di maria although his stock was possibly higher than bales. I see signing those two as just a repeat of what's happened before. Its not turning my nose up its i'd rather a change from over paying players that don't want to be at man utd and we can't shift afterwards. i'd rather build for a future not keep making more issues how would matic be able to cover for kroos in a 2 man midfield? How many games could we rely on bale for? Sanchez is already injured all the time. Also what does that mean for the likes of ddg demanding a higher wage do we really want to be that club that keeps paying astronomical wages to players in the hope we gel? Or should we build a solid squad while losing some of the unwanted players we have then in a season or 2 add the star quality people crave?

05 Jul 2019 12:41:27
If we can shift Pogba and get Bale plus our money back then I say good deal.
Someone for the younger lads to look up to and learn from. No one in our squad has won 4 CL medals. It would be a short term fix, adding leadership and a bit of class to our squad.
I understand people comparing it to Sanchez or Di Maria but some deals do work out for the better.

05 Jul 2019 12:42:45
Agreed. Bale on his day is great but how many days does he have these days? By all accounts his attitude is questionable as he'd rather be on the golf course. I'd stay well clear.

The only way I would entertain that deal would be Kroos + Bale + €80m then sell on Bale for a quick €60M and sell Kroos for €50M 😊 problem solved 👍.
