Lots of rumours around that Pogba wants £600,000 pw to stay!
I say he is taking the p*ss at his current salary. If that is the price we should not even try to keep him.
How much will he want next year!?

He's pricing himself out of a new deal in order to force his way out of the club.
He wins either way, he either gets the move he wants or he gets paid more than three times what he's worth.

Pogba wants out? What?

Surely we have to try and keep a player who doesn't want to be here.

At least it doesn't reflect in his performances 🙄🙄.

The guy wants to leave, he wanted to leave two summers ago and he wanted to leave this summer just gone.

If the club are foolish enough to get into contract talks with him and his representatives then they are well within their right to pull the clubs pants down with exorbitant requests.

Let him see out this season as he's our only midfield player who can pass a football and then replace him next summer with other professional footballers who can pass a football.

Who cares what he's paid. What matters most to me is that if he does stay then he should perform.

I would just get rid of him at the earliest possible time and get a really hard working/ super talented player like SMS or Niguez to replace him.

Although I kind of agree. what makes you think SMS or Saul would want to come to United in this current state?
We used to be the number one choice for players coming to the PL. at this moment in time I’m not even sure we’re even in the top 5.

Yeah replace Pogba with Saul Niguez.
It would immediately step up the quality of midfield.

If we can convince a player about a good project, they will probably join. However, we may have to offer higher wages to beat competition.

I'd happily give Pogba a 600k a week contact.

100k basic with 500k performance related. Instantly solves his issues with consistency.

Lol shappy that'd work! The way money has gone and the guarantees that players have before even setting foot on a pitch, restructuring deals like that would solve a lot of on field issues.

Saul Niguez going to leave Atletico for Man Utd? is this some April fools prank or something.

Their lies a big problem with Man Utd fans, the delusion is really real.

£5000 a week and you can have my 15 year old son. He has 3 goals and 4 assists in 2 games. He plays ACM and has an eye for goal and trys his hardest every game.

Pogba is a really good player and if he had half decent midfielders and attackers with him we would get more out of him. I don't think his attitude is anything like it should be but I can imagine his mindset. Why am I wasting the best years of my professional life with a team whose players are just not good enough to be challenging for trophies when I could be with a really top top team. If we had better players and were competing every year to win the league and champions league do you really think he would want out? I don't.

Pogba knew the clubs situation when he joined, the playing squad isn't dramatically different to the one he joined.

He might have wanted to move to Real Madrid or Barcelona but neither club valued him at the price being quoted.

So he had a choice, he could either stay at Juventus (a team that was winning Serie A every season and challenging in the UCL) or he could move to us, a team that hadn't challenged for the league in a few years and had even failed to qualify for the UCL twice out of the previous 4 seasons.

He chose to join us, no doubt because his agent sold him the move and the huge hike in wages.

He chose money over glory, now he saying he wants to move again to win titles. Yet I suspect he would have second thoughts if moving to Real Madrid, Barcelona or back to Juventus meant a significant drop in wages.

He wants to make as much money as he can, and fair play to him. But if that is his main motivation then he won't ever fulfil the potential he has.

Ronaldo earns huge wages, but he isn't driven by earning money. He wants to be the best and he wants to be remembered as one of the greatest of all time. He has maximised his talent. We need players who have the mentality that they want to be the best they can be, not earn the most they can.

Shappy I agree with you about Pogba not maximising his potential but maybe he was promised that Utd would invest in top players and that's just not happened. It's odds on he will go to a Madrid or Juve sooner rather than later and he will get wages equal to or better than he is getting at Utd.

Whether United invest in top players or not, if he was a top player with a good attitude he'd still put in a performance every week and show some leadership to the players around him , and maybe also tell his brother to shut up .
