Can we tick werner of the list looks like he is off to Chelsea.

{Ed002's Note - Other sides have an interest in Werner as I have explained. Liverpool have not contacted RBL or made an offer but have disrupted there player through a series of illegal approaches. RBL have spoken with other sides including Inter Milan and Chelsea but have maintained the stance that the player has had his head turned. If an acceptable offer has been made by Chelsea then they will have permission to talk with the player. It is then down to the player to decide if he wants to make the move - and remember he has previously expressed a desire to join Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool. If Liverpool do wish to buy the player, and they should do the principled thing, then they need to make an acceptable offer for the player - but as I have explained money may well be an issue to Liverpool. So the ball is in the court of the player and Liverpool. But there remains some way to go.}

Werner is obviously a good player and doesn’t look like we’ve been in for him despite his previous quotes wishing to play for United and Liverpool (a slightly worrying sign in itself) . Ed’s comment suggests Livepool may need to sell before buying. Good news for the rest of the Prem.

Interesting to see what happens next. Werner to Chelsea may perhaps free up Sancho to United?

A little disappointed that we didn’t make a move for him as I can see him being very successful in the Premier League, but I suppose right wing and center midfield are more important right now.

Not to fussed. He tends to occupy the same spaces as rashford from what I've read. Additionally ighalo provides the necessary cover in the short term.
