Ed002, There are reports coming out of France this morning that United along with Everton and Napoli have made bids for Gabriel Magalhaes of Lille.

They state that Napoli are his preferred option, but that United's UCL football might help swing a decision their way.

How accurate are these reports, do you know if United have made a bid?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Manchester United having made an offer although other clubs, after discussion with Lille have submitted offers. In general, it is rare for a club to simply make an offer.}

I think our record is bad in multy deal. Presently all focus is on Sancho Deal. once is done or over. our board will think something else.

Apparently his representatives are in the UK today talking to two premier league clubs which they think are Man United and Everton.

He's strong in the tackle good in the air and very importantly for me he's quick if its a good price he's worth a gamble. He has a lot of potential.

My preference would be for Jose Gimenez, but he is unavailable and would cost a significant amount. If the club are looking for a cheaper alternative with potential then Gabriel looks like a solid option. Hopefully UCL football can sway him.
