Hi all,
Eds - is the Sancho deal dead? The mixed reports in the media are driving me mad!

{Ed002's Note - It is going nowhere right now.}

Ed, thanks for your reply. Is the media representation of this deal (to your knowledge) fair? Is it one step forward one step backwards?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what the media have said I am afraid.}

Ed002 do you think Dortmund will sell in this window if utd pay up?

{Ed002's Note - They are not intending to and there have been discussions about options next summer already.}

Ed, have United seriously started considering other alternatives?

Or will they postpone Sancho's pursuit to next year considering the huge finances involved.

{Ed002's Note - They have alternatives as I have previously explained.}

Is a deal salvageable Ed?

{Ed002's Note - It is what it is.}

Its a shambles, however as ed02 has staed before the price was baulked at by every other club. The amateruish part by united is k ow Dortmunds position and still messing around with the transfer. They should have paid up 5 weeks ago or moved onto alternatives then! My only hope for this club going forward is the Glazers selling (will this happen any time soon? ) and getting real football people at the club.

United's Chief Negotiator tends to wait to the last week of a transfer window to try and get the best possible deal. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, Dortmund know there will be more suitors next year and are happy to wait. I wouldn't expect any movement at least for another two weeks.
