There are reports that Barca are eyeing a move for hererra. If that happens then lvg has to go. How hererra is not making the team while Rooney carries on being well below average is beyond a joke.

Mate Barcelona have tracked him since he was 22 and even before he joined us there was talk of Barca going for him. Relax besides he is just back from injury.

I remember there was rumours barca wanted him to replace Xavi before we signed him. Speaks volumes of him if that's how they rate him. And we won't even play him! In a midfield three with schneiderlin and either Carrick or Scweiny I think he would exell.

TheRedOne, I think they are very close. They are similar players, but I think Herrera is a little bit more mobile and slightly more forward thinking. Where as Rakitic is more slightly more conservative and slightly better at reading the game from a defensive view point.

So who's better? Well depends on the team, the set up amd the situation. From a defensive point of view Rakitic is better but from an offensive point of view then Herrera. Overall they are pretty similar great players but just a step down from the top midfielders.

GDS, I think the issue might be that Hererra might be prepared to go as he can't get in the team. Which is down to LVG

The issue is he will go no matter if he is playing or not if Barca come calling. Put yourself in his shoes, gets to play in his home country. The draw back is he gets to play for a small club with some lousy players like Suarez, Neymar and Messi
