We are still not gong to make top 4 and will be very hard for top6 as well unless Arsenal just completely blow their season up.

Martial is a very good goal scorer and is very essential to our attack at the moment.

He makes a big difference when he plays because he takes the load of of Rashford and genuinely offers us something more when going forward. But it hangs on whether or not they can both stay fit as we are extremely light. Which getting rid of Lukaku baffles me even more, incredibly stupid decision.

Too early to talk about where we will or won't end up. But 3 wins from 10 is not good enough at all.

Angel,

We won’t be getting relegated that’s for sure, pure hyperbole as always.

If we win 3/ 4 games on the bounce we could well be in the top 4. That’s not impossible. Aside from the top 2 it is tight again. Obviously injuries happen, but if we can be in and around 4th in January and we can get a couple of decent additions in like a Moussa dembele to add quality and depth why can’t we push on?

Getting rid of lukaku was not a stupid decision it was the correct decision to move a player on that no longer wanted to be part of the team. The stupid decision was not replacing him. there's the difference.

I wrote further down the page about this. Martial actually plays as a centre forward and stays further up the pitch not dropping back to get involved in the build up play or looking for the ball.

As such we always have a threat which means teams defence can't push up as much without the threat in behind.

That creates more space for players like Rashford, James and even Pereira in the No.10 role to find pockets of space and get more time on the ball.

The problem we have is Martial is the only true striker we have, Rashford is more of a wide forward and showed yesterday when he gets space in those inside channels on the left due to a striker occupying the centre backs then he can be devastating.

Greenwood also prefers to drop in to the inside channels and half spaces rather than be an out and out striker. He will be better off playing from the wide positions as he makes his way into the first team.

I would say we need back up and competition for Martial as an out and out striker more than we need a RW.

GDS, are you 10? You like coming on here and sounding like an idiot calling out people's posts? Remind me were you the one who was apprehended by an Ed just a few weeks ago for this very reason?

Now tell me, how many points of the top 4 are we? And in the same post do tell me how many points are we from the bottom 3. When you look that up you will find we are closer to the bottom 3 then the top 4. We beat The Champions League winners from last season didn't we? Your post does sound like that happened. We only beat Norwich. Do celebrate by all means. I am. But don't be childish. We are more than likely to be back to how we were last week then what we did yesterday.

{Ed047's Note - it wasn’t the first time either Shan, but afraid he’s got no one to help him down off his perch.

It’s not what you say but how you say it but he clearly never learnt that.

Apprehended by an Ed 😂😂 no, an Ed (the same one as this time shockingly! ) had a problem with my positivity, he’s not even a United fan and likes it when we are all arguing I assume.

{Ed047's Note - it’s nothing to do with positivity it’s your arrogant you know best attitude that shines out like a beacon son. You need to grow up.

You have been told by ed01 for doing the exact same thing, check the search engine if it’s somehow escaped your clearly very poor memory.
