If the rumours about Thiago are to be believed then surely, Pogba is leaving. Getting the players in first and then letting him out. At 28 swapping Pogba with Thiago 29, l for one would be very happy.

Although that isn't the main point of you post recon but Pogba is 27 yrs old not 28.

I too believe that if we are to bring in Thiago then one of Pogba and Matic may have to make way. It won't be possible to keep all of Pogba, Matic, Bruno, McTominay, Fred, DVdB and Thiago happy with the minutes they get on the field.

But maybe we can bring in Donny and This go this year; bed them in in the course of the season and let Pogba leave next year.



Mind you I still don't think This go is joining us.

Thiago play him dm with matic as cover. Pogba bruno with dvb as cover and fred to leave. I don't see why pogba should need to leave. The whole issue has been squad depth why would we let actual first teamers leave?

The best quality of Thiago is that he can play anywhere in midfield from DM to AM, only issue would be his injury record.
