Getting away from the clubs issues for a bit. what are we all making of this handball rule then? Especially how it's being implemented with VAR 🤷‍♂️🤣.

Doesn't handball have to be intentional?

Don’t think intent matters anymore, think the law was adjusted as it was leaving too many decisions open to interpretation. Now if it hits the hand it’s a penalty, issue is that wasn’t the case all weekend. Lindelof conceded one, Gabriel didn’t. whether you think they both were or weren’t pens it’s the lack of consistency as the games were only 2 hours apart. Can see it becoming a total farce as we move forward.

Have to wonder what they’re smoking. It’s the law which puts referees in such a tough position.
The ones with Lindelof and Doherty are just crazy. You don’t have to play football at the highest level to know it shouldn’t be a pen.

If it doesn't have to be intentional then the game changes to try and kick the ball at an opponents arm in the penalty area.

I might be on my own here but i quite like the whole VAR thing and i think United have had some great results because of it (PSG) 😁😁.
