Remember all the post just a few days ago about city not looking tired etc etc .

Pep lost, sack him. Clueless, defence all at sea, most expensive squad in the league. Cheque book manager. Bye Pep.

27 Sep 2020 18:21:26
I imagine pep and the coaching staff will be resigning first thing tomorrow jred 😂😂.

City are not good enough they have lost leaders and characters from that team. They used to be a strong team with the likes of Yaya Toure, Kompany, Zabaleta then they had the craft of David Silva. They haven't improved nowhere near enough for me and can't rely on Aguero anymore either. As sad as it is I see another comfortable title win for our lovely rivals 😳.

Pep’s problem is always the same, he thinks he can win without organising his defence. If he gets Dias, he’ll probably get away with it if he can keep him and Laporte fit. But the defence relies upon individual ability, not any tactical plan.

27 Sep 2020 18:37:44
Why do people try to justify us appointing a very inexperienced manager with nothing on his CV to suggest he’s up to the job against one of the most successful managers to grace the game?

6.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 18:44:01
Stand what's it got to do with ole?
Both pep and rodri spoke before the match about the effects of having no pre season.
But look at all the post just a couple of days ago .

27 Sep 2020 18:51:12
Stand pep won it all with the best club side potentially the world has ever seen. He then continued to win a one horse race in Germany. Came to england, has spent almost half a billion pounds on his defence and Liverpool caught up and overtook them. It’s not justifying ole, not in the slightest. But people compare him to pep and bang on about pep like he’s gods gift on this site.

8.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 18:52:29
Stand he has a title on his cv as manager let's not forget that.

Taking solace in other team being bad. Pathetic losers. This is what has become of us now? Focus on ourselves. Focus on the top of the table rather than a team. If its not City, it could be Liverpool or Everton, hell even Palace. Should focus on being top of the table. Comparison between Pep and Ole is like comparing a Royce with 3 wheeled bullock cart.

10.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 19:10:29
All those players listed above are players that Pep did not sign. He has ultimately made them worse than they were with the signings he has made. Not replaced Kompany, not replaced Toure, Foden not ready yet to replace David Silva and Jesus will not be good enough to replace Aguero. Fine manager but not Klopp's level. However, he's a mile better than Ole.

So City lost and that now justifies our own failings, really? . City look to be in transition to me and that isn’t something Pep has managed a team/ club through.

The difference is there is a clear pattern to their play, coached into the team, a pattern that has won league titles. At the same time we are disorganised. City are organised and under cooked training wise, we are disorganised and under cooked.

This tiredness excuse annoys me, its bollocks, City lost because yeah got exposed by a better team on the day and their defence is abysmal, we lost v Palace because we was garbage and Ole pocked the wrong team. Excuses is embarrassing.
On one hand tho, if Ole had lost 5-2 at home the noose would be readies for him, I guess the almighty Pep will get a free ride.

13.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 20:26:42
Man, these excuses are getting embarrassing now.

14.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 20:50:51
Again there not excuses, what has the op got to do with united?
Read some of the post from a few days ago about city .
Then have a look what the same people are saying now .
Thd same people who are also trying to make everything about ole 🤔.

Jesus guys. Can't seem to have a chat on here anymore just people biting each others heads off all the time and jumping down each others throat. Relax mun and how did this thread become about Ole 😂😂? Its not really not a happy camp on here. Let's stick together 👊.

16.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 21:13:06
Who's mentioning Ole now? And who said my post about excuses had anything to do with United? The OP was about city 🤔.

17.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 21:37:44
If we’d lost 5-2 at home to a very average Leicester side. Crikey just imagine. It’s exhibition/ pre-season football that’s all right now.

By the way, as I’ve always told my City mates, Pep is the luckiest manager in the world. Cheque book manager, poor coach, rarely plays youngsters and after 3 seasons his methods wear off as the players get tired of him. Just goes to show good Sir Alex was in refreshing new squads each season.

You're right Eric, very very lucky guy 🙄.

The only way we get back to where we want to be is by taking care of our own business. Justifying us being crap because City lost is a bit sad really.
Get our own house in order, and worry about our own performances. I couldn't give two hoots what City do. Other teams dropping points should bee seen an opportunity for us to get ahead of them, not an excuse to be as bad as them.
Do you think Klopp will be telling his team they can take it easy tomorrow because City lost?

20.) 27 Sep 2020
27 Sep 2020 22:11:29
City were not tired they were soundly beaten. 81% possession in the first 30 mins vardy touched the ball 8 times in the first half. But awful defending cost them badly. Floor all the money they have spent they couldn't field a cf. Their team looks very beatable and vulnerable just now.

Oh city are in transition now?

That's bollox and we all know it. City have had plenty of time to see this coming and have replacements in place for the older key players, but they didn't. Simple fact is that Pep is a very good coach in some areas, but he doesn't know what he's doing in others. In particular, he doesn't know how to gradually refresh his squad over time, because he has never had to do it.

He took over a great squad at Barca, and did an amazing job improving it and turning it into the best in the world, but he skipped town with Barcelona about a year or two away from exactly the situation City are now in. at Munich he failed to have the same impact and left before refreshing the squad became a problem. Now at City he's improved the squad like at Barca, but key players were already a bit older, and he's hit the problem of refreshing the squad earlier.

No team should EVER be going into transition a few years after the manager comes in. Either the manager comes in and the team goes into a period of transition as he shifts out deadwood and players not suited to the style of football he wants and brings in his own faces, or he has time to get replacements ready before it gets to this point.

City WILL be in transition next season, and it's because Pep screwed up. He's still a good coach, and he'll learn from this, but he still screwed up.

None of it has anything to do with Ole, just that Pep is not quite the infallible wonder boy people make him out to be.

22.) 28 Sep 2020
28 Sep 2020 00:14:36
thorn we have been in transition for how long and still miles away.

23.) 28 Sep 2020
28 Sep 2020 13:32:07
A season and a half Daze. That's how long Ole has been here. We weren't in really in transition before that, no matter hi own much a few idiot journalists and pundits might throw the phrase around.

And what does that have to do with anything I said? Even if we were permanently "in transition" that doesn't change that Pep bolloxed up at City because he doesn't know how to oversee a gradual refreshing of his squad.

To be fair, the comparisons come thick and fast on here when our various rivals win a game and we lose. Have to expect it back when they hit a bump in the road.
