If i am being honest, even the most realistic (or negative and doom mongers, as some call us) didn't see this scoreline coming. Same scoreline when City beat us in 2011 was it? Ridiculously outplayed and outscored by a team coached by the most defensive dinosaur. Sorry but neither Woodward nor Judge should take the blame for this abysmal performance. Its all Ole. Its not the defeat that hurt rather the manner of it. Losing 6-1 at home. I don't see what Cavani, Telles, Sancho or anyone else can do when they are not given a gameplan to follow on the pitch.

Not match fit argument doesn't even hold ground anymore.

Yeah i know its "just one game" but its become a pattern now and anyone not seeing it is not just wearing red tinted glasses but is also blind underneath.

But its woodwards and judge fault for not backing yet another manager in improving the team.

Yes ole is not faultless and again he makes the wrong team selection but players not tsking pride in there own performance is a joke.

They all should be fined.

Where do we go from here? Window shuts tomorrow, we have a left back but need 2 cbs the team selecrion is wrong every week.

Ole will no doubt get the sack but so should them above him for their failings.

Wake up Shan! The club is being run abysmally. I find it unbelievable “fans” like you don’t see the bigger picture. This is ground hog day. Every time we qualify for cl we spend less than when we don’t qualify. when in fact this is a time it should in theory be easier to bring players is. Now we’re seeing the scattergun approach, panic buys. A player who’s been available for 6months and now we sign them? The people running the club, the bankers, the guys who nothing about football let alone our history are making the same mistakes again and again. They haven’t even learnt on the job, they are as useless as the day they were hired. Let’s just hope judge has his phone on the day of deadline day. Amateurs.

Completely agree Shan.
No direction, no plan and what's worrying it won't change.

Twenty, i will wake up if any word you wrote justifies the performance today. Its the same team isn't it that was supposedly on its way back up when we were "unbeaten since January". Amateur or not, todays performance tells you that the players have no clue about what they need to do on the pitch. Its always like go on the park and try and get a penalty. Is there a scheme of things or play that you see? Does woodward decide that? If woodward and the amateurs have to take the blame then what is Ole's job?

You keep looking at your bigger picture and its 7 years and counting since we won the PL title and keep Ole and it will be 70 years but yeah you focus on the bigger picture.

The coach we sacked because his style of play wasnt entertaining just entertained us with a 6 goal thrashing. Let that sink in.

Twenty I completely agree but shan is correct as well, that team is not a bad team but it's being badly coached, look at Leeds, would you say any of their players are better than ours? Probably not in my opinion however look at how a world class coach can get the best out of his squad, all of those Leeds players are drilled so each and everyone knows what they should be doing, hell from what I've heard bielsa can't speak great English so it's more remarkable how he gets his philosophy across, ed001 has always said how great a coach he is but I've never really seen much of his teams until now, watching Leeds at the moment is making me jealous we don't have that level of coach, utd are a shambles both on and off the pitch and it hurts.

The worse thing about today is that the “I told you so” brigade is out.

They were quiet last May.

That game was bound to finish 4-3 either way until the red card.

If Martial goes then Lamela has to go as well. Bad refereeing decisions is not down to Ole.

He’s not the manager to win us trophies, but at the same time he’s not responsible for poor officiating or Maguire being an absolute shambles.

Come on wazza the sending off is not an excuse, the whole team looked clueless before that happened and it was a matter of time before we were battered, Palace and Brighton could of had 6 each, ole is the coach he should be able to get the best out of every player and coach them as a unit, I'm not seeing any of that.

I disagree wiggy. It’s easy for you to say that and back it up.

But you can’t stand up for that decision. Did Martial do any worse than Lamela?

It’s like saying it’s ok to bully, but not ok to retaliate.

I completely agree the decision was a joke but that doesn't excuse the performance before and after that happened.
