Really pleased for Mike. A very good defender but sadly too many errors although he seems well liked in Italy. Despite the messing around with his deal, didn’t hear a peep from him. Always gave his all, a true professional. Best of luck to him.

I’m glad we didn’t sign Sancho, the cost was plainly ridiculous. The problem is we should have reached that conclusion months ago but hey ho, dippy Ed stumbled along as usual. We’re not talking about Mbappe here, we’re talking of someone with potential that may or may not be realised. I wouldn’t go near it at the prices quoted.

We now need to move some players out and stop faffing. Romero, Lingard, Jones, Rojo and then strengthen someone more. CB, DM would work for me to go along with all the exciting youngsters we have been hoovering up.

And finally, given what we have seen I would play Henderson and DVB, drop DDG and Pogba. Cavani gets to start with a aerials ban so that will be interesting and I’d play 3 CBS with Rashford up front alongside Cavani. wing backs, more creativity in the middle, pace and power up front. What could possibly go wrong?

Good post. I'm curious about the formation. It looks like Telles would be an ideal lwb with his attacking ability, however who would you have at rwb? It can't possibly be wan bissaka? He doesn't have the ability in the final third, maybe not even the engine for a more advanced role - he often looks knackered midway through games.

Red army if he could stay fit Ethan laird will be a top player. If he can stay fit for a few months I think he could challenge wan bissaka if he gets his chance I fully expect him to take it.
