anybody able to justify Lingard included in the UCL 'A' squad ahead of Greenwood who isn't? Given that Greenwood is a regular starter in the EPL and Lingard isn't. I am confused!

Greenwoods age and homegrown status means he can be on the b list which allows the club to place him in the UCL squad 24 hours before a matchday.

Lingards age means he has to be in the A list if i understand correctly.

Greenwood is in the squad. He doesn't have to be listed because he is home grown and under a certain age.

Fairly sure that Greenwood doesn’t need to be named due to his age coming through the youth team.

The club put out a tweet explaining the exclusion of Greenwood, Brandon Williams and Mengi. They are homegrown and U21 so don't need to be registered in the Assist. They can be included in the Valuation which can be updated until upto 24hrs before the kickoff on the matchdays.

*A-list not assist
*B-list not valuation.
