Think yesterday showed we are building a solid squad now, add Telles and Cavani to the mix and we have a strong bench whatever the team. Maguire seemed to gain some confidence after scoring and hopefully gets back some consistency. Axel is back training and will push for start at the back as well. The added midweek games will allow rotation to keep them all match fit. Finally can't see how Pogba should start, Bruno was back to his best yesterday without him in the team and when came on he didn't look like a guy fighting for a starting place, fews weeks on the bench and give DVB a run.

I was delighted for maguire. That goal seemed to lift his overall confidence.
Some good posts below too. I thought we were poor for the first hour despite a few flashes of good play.
Mata played really wull.
Ddg made a great save at 1 all that possibly changed the game which goes unnoticed i was pleased for him.
Not that Newcastle would have deserved that lead.
I like dvdb. He brings a real energy and quality to the team.
We needed that win.
A fit cavaini will add a lot we all hope and greenwood and telles some great attacking options let's hope we see them gel.
Big games ahaed we need more of the same particularly the last 15 mins.
We all know there were flaws yesterday but when you win 4 1 its best to concentrate on the positives of that. It should give confidence gong into some though fixtures.
Martial and greenwood will be available on Tuesday and I'm sure pogba wull start so we have some fresh legs going in there too.
Busy season lots of funny results so far, let's hope we settle down now for this next run of fixtures and get some rhythm going.
