How no one has ever gone in for Jamie Vardy I will never know.

Might be an unpopular opinion but for me he is one of the best prem strikers of all time.

Think he would've been a shrewd signing if it were possible. Oh well, nice to see arsenal lose and the prem is again wide open.

Arsenal went in for him and he rejected the move a couple of years ago. Maybe he didn't want to move.

He is a real goal scorer. I was doubting him at the beginning of the season simply becuase i thought he can't have another season like the last five and it has to stop eventually. But he just keeps doing it i think he has been great and is a real throw back to the 80's and 90's type of cf.
He was very close to signing for arsenal but backed out at the last minute. I am surprised that nobody else tried since then.
He bit like andy cole no matter how many he scored he never got a run for england either.

Yeah, incredible player. A loyal one too.

He's an interesting player, he has good appreciation of space and gold movement along with excellent finishing. He is also a character, and apparently doesn't follow tactical direction very well, preferring to play his own way.

It is his perceived lack of professionalism and inability to adjust his game to fit into a bigger team tactical plan which might have limited his chances at moving to a bigger club. These are things that you are supposed to learn when you are brought up through an academy, which is something Vardy never had.

Personally I think staying at Leicester has been the best outcome for him. At Leicester he is the star and the team is set up in a way that gets the best out of him. A move to a "bigger" club would have likely seen him take a back seat, been an impact sub or have to alter his game to fit into his new teams style aesthetic. Which might have been beyond him or at least detrimental to his game.

You see with the national team he isn't as effective and as such only played as an impact sub.

Mrs Vardy stepped in because she wanted to stay in Leicester and likes her current status at the King Power stadium. Jamie did what he was told.

I like vardy and I'm happy for him that he has stayed at Leicester. They took a gamble on him and it worked out and he showed them some loyalty back, something which Is rare in the modern day footballers. I think he made a wise choice.
