I have not been a fan of Ole for a long time and, when he finally goes, I think the entire coaching staff needs to be bulleted along with him.

Last night Phelan saw what was wrong and nobody showed any real gusto to stop it. It was a total abdication of duty. Our team doesn't look like its being set up properly against 90% of opposition. There are no patterns to our play and this isbthe worst defence I have seen at a big club in years. What do they do on the training ground?

I don't think the players have downed tools, they're just given no instructions on what to do. We need a manager and a background staff who are at the top level and all share similar views on how the game should be played. We need an identity to our play.

Personally, I'm not sold on Poch but think he would be a big improvement. I'd perhaps look at a Nuno with Cathro and the rest of his team at Wolves. I like Nagelsmann too. Doubt either would come into Utd though.

Agree with Nuno, would be an interesting choice, premier league experience and a great beard. His family stills lives in Portugal and he lives in a flat overlooking the Wolves training ground during the season, which sounds familiar, would that suddenly be an issue under the pressure of managing United.
Poch for me no, Nagelsmann is Madrid bound, already turned them down once.

This is not based on last nights game but what really annoys out of me about Ole is the way he sits there with a silly half grin on his face looking at the bloody screen whilst tapping away at it. How can he sit there watching that load of crap and show no emotion or no expression. You look at the likes of Pep, Klopp, Jose and even Brendan Rogers who are constantly stood up on the touchline constantly barking out orders and giving opinions about what they are watching and trying to improve and change things. When i look at Ole sat on that seat he just zaps all the energy out of me. He looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. The whole thing is depressing, we need to move and make a change. The gap between us and the top 4 is already 6 points and we are only 6 games in.

Fair point re. Nuno's living situation. It would be a step up in pressure but he seems a strong character and I like coaches who have an identity. Nagelsmann may well go to Madrird, good luck to him if he does.

Hassenhuttl would be an upgrade at this stage.

His teams play attacking football and he sets them out with an identifiable plan.

Also he showed after the 9 -0 defeat that he's got character and determination.
