One of the things we were told about Ole was he was getting rid of the deadwood and bringing better players in :
Dan James - way out of his depth
AWB - 50m for a right full who's not great going forward.
Maguire : 80m for a poor man's David May
DVB : Ole doesn't seem to know what to do with him despite phoning him to tell him how he was going to fit in to his plans, to convince him to sign.

Bilko there is nothing wrong with wan bissaka. I would say the issue is not having anyone in front of him with quality. Every time he gets the ball whoever is on the right in 15/ 20 yards infield.

Agree with the rest, but I doubt the manager will be here for much longer so we will see what comes next.

AWB is brilliant defensively, stops crosses coming into box.
As Neville pointed out he can focus on being the best defensive fullback.
Maguire was an odd signing considering we want to play high line.
Bruno has been top class, but must be given rest at times.
DJ needs a loan to get more games under his belt.
VDB, I guess is a long time Pogba replacement.

bilko, awb is the best defender is the league as a full back there is no one better, i agree he lacks any threat going forward, but if we had a right winger in front i think he would improve that side of his game.

In the modern game at a big club, the full backs need to be able to attack, and for 50m you'd kind of expect that .

Can’t change the player bilko or put the price tag on him. We knew what we were getting. If you had seen much of him at palace you’d not have expected much going forward. I think he’s improving in that aspect, but he’s class at what he does and deserves credit for it.
