RIP Maradona, a great player and flawed genius. Genius is often flawed, Georgie Best, another flawed genius, also died too early on this day, but easily forgotten is that Bill Foulkes also passed today on 25thNovember.

I was lucky, I saw Best, I saw Charlton, I saw Ronaldo, I saw Messi, I saw Maradona all live. I remember that game in 84, my view from the Stretford End when Barcelona came to town, Maradona with ridiculous short shorts, I remember the sense of fear seeing him warm up. It wasn't his finest game and let's be honest back then we didn't care, yet we had the moment of seeing one of the all time great live. It is one of those moments, one that should live with you and appreciate it if you ever get chance, you know not the future.
