Poor game yesterday first half especially was poor.
But that was probably the team most would of picked .
If we had of played that bad and cavani and DVB had been on the bench, the site would of been full of post about how it was all down to them 2 not playing .
There has been all sorts posted on here the past few weeks but after 2 games we sat 2 points off top .
You don't win anything in December and you don't have to be amazing all season .
We need to be in the mix in Jan after the busy xmass period then kick on .
Missed the energy of Fred yesterday 😉.

{Ed047's Note - apparently 8 or 9 games in you can’t have an opinion on where you might finish but 10 games in is a different story. 🤦‍♂️

Jred sorry (not sorry) to through a grenade at your post but this team are abhorrently poor and consistently crack under pressure.

Forget the manager for a minute. Be that OGS, JM, LVG or DM. Since SAF moved on the team has been gutless both on the field and in the boardroom

MU's "WC" player Pogba has been more interested in the celebrity lifestyle than winning at MU since arrival, MAZE is all for Rashford feeding the poor children but come on son you should be at the level of Kane/ Sterling by now but aren't even close and the commercial acumen of the board is akin to that of an @realDonaldTrump biography.

Bringing JM in was the best piece of business that has happened in years (a winner) - look at Spurs now. The view of MAZE is the Spurs team is not superior to uniteds but it is better balanced, more committed and coached by a winner. MU should have stuck with him and got rid of the gutless characters.

So, don't fool yourself friend. MU will be lucky to make top 6 this year (anything less than the title is not of the standard anyway) and the way the trajectory is going our barren run will outweigh that of the Scouser's recent one.

Always nice to beat West Ham in any shape or form guys. Delighted with the win.

Having to been a fair few Utd games at West Ham over the years, including being privileged to see the last ever match at the Boleyn Ground, they can’t stand us.

Now imagine if we could only win our home games! Weird season this one due to circumstances, strap in and enjoy it.

And. as for OGS he is a fading club legend. He will always be in the history books and rightly so for his contribution under the glory years.

However, if he had the clubs best interest at heart he would walk into the boardroom tomorrow, explain he is underqualified to manage/ coach the affairs at a major club and beg the fans for forgiveness for taking the job in the first place.

Less than a decade ago the greatest manager of all time was in that dug out. Now we have a former Molde gaffer with a CV that has more gaps than Charlie Adam's teeth.

Every day he rides the gravy train for the $$$ his star fades.

Don't think most would have picked a team with Bruno on the bench tbh, and we looked the same until mata came on for martial, we was a lot better then.
Same old, same old tho, chalk and cheese from one half to another, sublime to the ridiculous. I literally said to a mate yday, no rush sticking the game on as we will be losing and win it the second half, almost predicable now. Fair play to Pogba who played well, Greenwood goal I feel didn't get enough credit, nice to see Telles with the assist, and the pass from Mata for Rash was sublime too. 2 points off Liverpool and I see a table stating Ole since the end of Jan was second overall behind only Liverpool, hard to judge where we are at or judge Ole as we can be brilliant then lose to a random with zero effort, inconsistency even in the same game, if we can find consistency we will be big players in this title race and I never thought I'd say that but I still feel we don't really have a plan b to help us out. Enjoying the ride atm.

Eric don’t fool yourself, West Ham are a basket case and have been lucky this season. How do you rate their manager? Plenty on here could give you some insight.

Really glad MU could overcome a Moyes team that escaped relegation last year. Over the moon. Super elated.

Agree entirely maze welcome back.
Jred beautiful i told you so post not as viscous as usual but pokey enough.
Vdb was played in the wrong position a swap with pogba would have been ideal imo he never played add a10 for ajax why we expect him to do it here is crazy mata would have been a better choice there imo. I notice you didn't pop into the live chat at half time you only do that when we are winning of course😁😁
As i said yesterday no point dwelling on the negatives after a win. Good result that's really all that counts at this stage. Let's get in the mix and see if ole can scrape a top 4 place again.

47 as I said you don't win anything in December.
But things maybe aren't as bad as some make out, its not anything like as bad as arsenal for example.

{Ed047's Note - nice try jred, failed again as usual 🤦‍♂️

Ken are you agreeable to a 4th place finish? That is not United standard. Wonder what Bayern, Madrid, Barca, Juve fans etc would think of that standard.

Or do we now compare with the likes of Atalanta, Sevilla, Leipzig?

Wazza, anyone with a user name reflecting the great granny smasher Senor Rooney is also as “mad as a box of frogs”.

11.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 12:25:00
Maze of course i don't think 4th is acceptable but i think qualifying for cl is the best we can hope for under OLE.

All i can do is hope they do better than i expect by the time the season finishes.

But i try not to be too negative after a win no matter how flukey it is. A win is a win. My view is no point dwelling on negatives.

Some think its not as bad as it looks some think its actually a lot worse than it looks. Time will tell.

Ole got 3rd last year my tgt was plus 20 points on least season that is still achievable so i am prepared to sit back and wait and see what happens.

I have no belief in the manager but he has scraped 4 wins on the bounce maybe 3 of those were undeserved but we won and as long as we win ill be happy enough.

12.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 12:32:10
Maze, this board will fail any manager.
Even their selection of managers itself is questionable.

13.) 06 Dec 2020

I share those sentiments exactly ken. Good post.

06 Dec 2020 13:32:46
VdB has played plenty of games at 10 he can play there . Evra was right he bullied by rice yesterday .
Poor game but he is a decent player and also to be fair to him everyone else was as bad and it sounds like he was carrying a knock.
Telles was a concern yesterday although I thought he played well against psg .

06 Dec 2020 16:40:19
Waving the third place trophy around, is that what the expectation level is now?

{Ed047's Note - I get the impression whatever Ole achieves will be the expectation

20.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 17:17:24
I don't think anyone is waving any trophies around just pointing out things maybe aren't as bad as a few woukd like to make out.

21.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 17:57:38
What was the expectation for the league last year? I think most were content with 3rd last year, considering how far ahead City and Liverpool were.

What are the expectations for this season? I think most were hoping we'd get a lot closer, which to this point we are. If we're still in the mix after January, I think we'd see that as progress. Doesn't mean we're celebrating third, but we're realistic enough to know where we are and where we've come from.

22.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 18:24:47
Where were came from was 3 trophies a lost final and 2nd in the league in the 3 years previous.
Allbeit very boring on the pitch and starting to worsen when jose was fired.
Lots of player changes and we really were the nearly men last season. Imo the season could have been a lot better.
20 plus points still looks achievable i didn't think it did 4 games ago.
I don't think ole is getting the best from the players but he has won the last 4 games so as long as that continues and we are competing then ill be as happy as i was under jose. If three play improves and we still them ill be very happy.
Winning ugly is good especially if you see something developing i don't see that yet but maybe it will come.

23.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 19:40:47
If we win the title, or a cup at least, some people here would say its players who won it, but not Ole, and would still ask for his head.

So he tried to rest some players, it went awful, he did every single sub correctly, would you say Ole deserves some praise for that?

24.) 06 Dec 2020
06 Dec 2020 21:12:44
Haha rover, fantastic, guess we know who MAZE’s alter ego is always.

25.) 07 Dec 2020
07 Dec 2020 15:50:19
MAZE, you say in your OP that this team cracks under pressure. How do you square that opinion with the fact that this team keep coming back to win after going behind so often? That suggests they very much perform when the pressure is on them.
