One for ed001 if you're about. What are your views on Bruno in comparison to someone like De Bruyne? Obviously KDB is too quality but I think Bruno is every bit as good and I'd argue that the numbers he's putting up are in a much worse team. What do you think?

{Ed001's Note - Bruno is more of a leader than de Bruyne and so more important to his team. It is difficult to compare them because they play a different way, both are well suited to the tactical system they play in. Bruno has great vision and loves those killer balls into a breaking forward. City are about sucking opponents into tight areas before playing a longer ball, either cross-field or forward, into the space created. De Bruyne is particularly good at hitting those longer passes accurately. Bruno is more about intricate play in tight areas. Even their finishing is different. De Bruyne will smash it hard from range, Bruno will place it. They are both great players for the tactics they are playing, but it is difficult to say one is better than the other because of the differences.}

Thought as much. Both equally as crucial to their respective teams too.

Great insight ed001 as usual. Both great players.
Who do you think would perform better if they changed their teams? Obviously City are a better team as a whole but KDB is their crown jewel. Also if given the choice between Bruno and KDB who would you rather have at Liverpool?

{Ed001's Note - I think de Bruyne would probably find it easier because he is more mobile, while Bruno would probably suffer the way Bernardo Silva has done at City. For the way Liverpool play, de Bruyne's mobility would be a plus, as he would have to play as one of the central midfielder's who are expected to press high and work back. I am not sure Bruno would cope with the physical demands.}

Don't like to disagree with Eds but saying Bruno wouldn't cope with the physical demands I'm not sure about.

He never stops running for a second, one of the hardest working players we've had since Park Ji Sung, except Park would get rested quite often.

{Ed001's Note - I agree he is, I didn't mean he couldn't do the amount of running, it is the mobility to reach position quickly enough I am referring to. De Bruyne is quicker, he can get about the field more quickly, while Bruno lacks a little in that regard. He is no slouch but he is not quite pacey enough for the high press teams. That is why he was available for you to buy, that was the worry teams had about him, could he keep up with the pace of the game? He is quick mentally but that doesn't help when the ball is moved quickly around the way City and Liverpool do with the quick switch, unless players have pace they can get left behind. He has shown he is quick enough and physical enough for just about any other team though.}

Thats perfect responce Ed001, thank you. I always thought about them two. I think De Bruine is more mobile-fast and ofcourse a better passer and crosser of the ball. While Bruno is more of a leader with greater vision and (i think) he has an edge at technique and first touch over KDB.
