Looks like Mauricio Pochettino is going to be a busy boy as, depending on who you believe, he's going to manage United, PSG, Real and Barca.

Not bad for someone who has yet to win a trophy lol.

I see United sticking with Ole. Hoping for one result at a time rather than any longer strategic planning than that. Think whenever Ole's United managerial history is written it will note he was only ever 3 games away from the sack. Clearly with the anger at the UCL games it could be a critical few days ahead.

An unlikely home win v City needed to calm things down. Can see the opposite though and #PochIn trending soon after.

I am getting old, so many years of watching incompetent boards putting up with years of dross. Right now sentiment is driving those who say sit and wait, in x years Ole will be alright, then in 12 months they will realise he is not the right one.

United sticking with Ole is that sign of the sentimental core which means we cannot break free, we cannot run a football club properly.

Winning against City didn’t calm us down last season, false dawn after false dawn. Just extends the nonsense.

Halesini,

Is it that unlikely that we win at the weekend? It’s about as likely that we win or lose any game, there’s no consistency at all.

GDS2 - agree we can beat City or get mullered by them. It’s flip of a coin as to which United turns up. If we lose I think Woodward has his opportunity to pull the trigger and may do so if he realises his choice for next manager is increasingly more likely to head to PSG or Real. I’m just highlighting the obvious that it’s yet another pivotal moment and must win game.
