Lots of talk about Ole over the past week and hardly a mention of derby day.

So let's get things back on track. What's your predictions for today?

I've got a strange feeling about this one. On one hand, if we lose it's kind of expected. On the other, if we win, what does it count for?

It's a strange feeling and one I've not had since Moyes was in charge. You get the feeling that the manager is on borrowed time and that each win is delaying the inevitable.

We have the players to win the game for us if we create the opportunities so I can see us scoring 1 or 2. No doubt we will start with two holding midfielders again, so it could be a case of keeping them out and catching them on the break. Ole seems to pull it out of the bag when he's backed into a corner and up against a rival, let's hope it's the case again to lift the mood a little.

Honestly wouldn't shock me if we win 3-1 or lost 3-1, I do think this game will suit Oles defensive minded counter attack tho however I have a feeling that this time Ole won't be able to pull the rabbit from the hat. My fear is another spurs drubbing.

Today is a tough call. City are looking a little more solid at the back but I think we can still hurt them on the counter.

It will be interesting to see how the team reacts today following the midweek disappointment. If we see a reaction, then I think it buys Ole some time. But if they walk all over us and we play like we did against Leipzig then I think serious questions will be asked as to whether these players are playing for Ole.

I’m cautiously optimistic and like you say, this is the type of game Ole and the team have pulled out a result in recent history. I’m going for a 2-1 home win, but I (unfortunately) can also seeing it be a big score line the other way with our defence currently.

Wazza every time this season I've thought we might get started and go on a bit of a run we’ve lost. Then when I expect us to lose we have won. so I’m going 3-0 city to see if my current trend continues!

I like your thinking Caolan 😂

If SAF was in charge you could say with some certainty we’d win today. You’d always felt sorry for our next opponent when coming off the back of a humiliating defeat. Rarely would we lose two big games in a row. We need to see some of that steel and determination today 👊.

Rashford and bruno to do the business on the counter attack. Fred and mctominay to perform well without the ball and maguire to defend well on his penalty box with no space to worry about in behind.

3-1 united.

If we win what does it mean?

It means everything to win today, what are you talking about? In the league we are on a run, we have to keep that going to repair the damage from midweek.

We don't drop our heads. We don't mope over being knocked out of UCL. We regroup and show a reaction, from the first second, every single player.

If the club can't get up for the noisy ones then there is something wrong.

I expect a strong reaction, and city better watch out.

0-3+ is my fear but with us it’s impossible to forecast.

Utd to win, because every time it looks like ole is close to the sack he pulles one out of the bag 😀.
