How anyone got us thinking McGuire is good on the ball is beyond me! Not a clue as to what to do with it.

You genuinely just watched that game and that is what you wanted to post? Maguire was good tonight, maybe McGuire wasn’t, I didn’t notice. Bailly was also good, we fully deserved the win.

He played some nice passes through the lines into Bruno and Donny, first half especially.

Bailly made Maguire look better, he lost the ball in a very bad position yesterday, and it was Bailly who was able to catch the Everton player and regain possession, probably would have been a different outcome had Lindelof been on the pitch, they just lack pace. Unfortunately, Bailly will likely not be fit long enough to cement a place as first choice. But either one of Maguire or Lindelof need to be replaced by one of Bailly or Tuanzebe to have that pace in the backline in case anyone loses the ball too cheaply.
