Tough watch last night and whilst Ole gets some stick the second half was markedly different from the first.

The pace picked up, Pogba moved forward and we created a lot more chances than we did in the first half. It still wasn’t pretty and too many players were off the pace but we stayed at it.

The squad is deeper than it has been for a while, there are options in the middle and up front but in defence we still look light.

I thought Shaw played well when he came in and with him and Telles we are covered. I’m not convinced about AWB, he’s a great tackler but his positioning is suspect and offers nothing going forward. Brandon is promising but young so we are light there

Maguire divides option, I just think he needs the right partner, Tuanzebe is the great hope but I think a top top pacey CB is urgently needed.

It may be we have to continue the ‘you score 2, well, score 3 approach. It will shred our nerves but will be entertaining. The problem comes when like last night, the forwards are off key. Fingers crossed it was a one off, we have scored over 2 goals per game, only Liverpool have also done that.

Wolves did their homework and marked Bruno out of the game, and we struggled as a result. Not sure it was all the forwards fault, the final ball last night was poor.

Bailly complimented Maguire well.
A clean sheet after conceding lots of goals recently is another positive.
