It was a semi final. City had a makeshift attack, albeit a good attack.
Tonights game really summed Utd up. More so the coaching aspect, from AWB's positional awareness and deciding making to Rashfords numerous offsides.
Whilst to some, this maybe perceived as overreacting with what I will next say, but OGS isn't upto the task and the ineptness of Woodward and Co haven't helped.
Sure, 2nd in the league, but was it just another good run that will now end?
Personally I would pick Tuanzebe at RB, Bailly Maguire in the middle with Telles at lb.
The team woukd be more balanced and we could stop playing two holding players.

Thought we defended ok apart from the 2 silly set pieces, their attack did nothing, our forward line was the problem tonight.

That’s my worry as we have been a very streaky team under ole, both good and bad. On AWB he’s been doing the same thing for months and nothing has been done by the coaching staff, opponents will no doubt target that area in future games. Surely his positioning should have been flagged and corrected before now🤷â€â™‚ï¸.

If it wasn’t for Bruno, ole would’ve been sacked. He’s been saving him every game. Yes we are second, but I still fail to see our game plan. We need a manager who’s ruthless and has actual tactics. We look to have no style of play and just hope for a get out of jail. Lindelof and Maguire as a Cb pairing aswell makes me sick. People say ole was resting baillly so if I see Lindelof start vs Burnley, I’m going to he fuming and it would be clear ole has favourites
Also to add I found it disgusting and disrespectful bring Donny on for 2 minutes when he had no chance to change the game.

OGS was one of the . a agers who wanted 5 subs instead of 3. Tonight was his chance to utilise them he didn't. It was a semi final. If yiu are losing, then you go for it. Go out an attack.
