Morning gents,

A good, hard fought win last night. When we got to the 65th minute I wondered if we had the heart and desire to push on and get the winner. We did. I also wondered if we could see it out in stoppage time. We did.

To reach any goal you have to have milestones. This is certainly a milestone for the club, for the players and for Ole.

I can't wait for the weekend. Win, lose or draw we have put ourselves in a strong position to challenge.

I think it was a thoroughly professional performance.

Good point regarding it being a milestone fixture. I know it was Burnley, but the occasion itself was handled very well. The tactics and the mentality were spot on. The control of the second half and the way we kept applying pressure, moving the ball from side to side, was really good to see.

I think most of us have been wanting to see that for a long time now. Playing with width and applying a constant pressure regardless of the score is in our DNA. I really hope that's a sign of things to come. Needless to say we won't be able to do that against Liverpool. It's a really big game for both teams and football fans up and down the country will be watching. It's a great feeling!

We are grinding out win after win. These types of games where ones we used to drop points last year.
