So you won, annoying but it happens.

Think the game was one of the best between the sides for a long time.

We made a couple of errors you capitalised on and won it with a good free kick. Think Ali could of maybe done a bit better but that doesn't matter now.

No idea how the season will play out from here but if you can keep the confidence you'll be in the mix. You are a team that imo is hugely reliant on getting on a run of form and riding the wave which you are definitely doing at the minute!

Fair points mate. There’s a good fell around the club right now and we keep picking up the wins. I know you have CB issues but Klopp doesn’t seem a happy bunny right now. Can’t blame him, you’ve lost your best player and having to play midfielders at CB was never going to end well.

I am surprised at your slump, you were head and shoulders above every other team last year and yet right now, games seem a struggle.

As for today, great game, could have gone either way.

WYred, I think today showed how important Henderson is at covering your full backs. Our first two goals came from huge space in behind. Shows how disciplined he is when your team attacks.

Pretty even game. You miss your central defenders. We took advantage. If you have them back for the league match you could win.

Klopp is probably lamenting his luck but he can come across as an incredibly sore loser. but losing both starting cbs and a third who is made of crisps has definitely bought us down a peg or two. City struggled without laporte last year so its hardly surprising but its made it a very interesting season.

As for Henderson he is absolutely crucial to our side, I said it before on our page. People thought it was hard to replace Gerrard, just wait until we need to replace Henderson.
