I think the club need to make a decision this summer, either move DDG on (if they can find a buyer) or send Henderson back out on loan so he can play with a view to him taking the United No.1 in the 2022/ 23 season.

I think the keeper situation has been handled (pun intended) terribly. We have shoved Romero out the club and treated him poorly, stunted Henderson's progression and DDG hasn't really picked up or shown he will ever get back to his peak form.

We could potentially see a situation where this summer Romero will be gone, Grant will retire and Henderson could push for a permanent move away. Leaving us with just a declining DDG, Joel Pereira and Bishop as our three senior keepers. Swiftly going from having the strongest goalkeeping selection in the league to an average one. Poor show really.

Henderson has all the qualities to be our No.1 and it's more about how strong and composed he is mentally to deal with the pressures at a big club like us. If he can handle that then we are sorted out with the GK position for the next decade or so.
