Went to make a cup of tea and we scored three goals, never making tea during football again.

I went to see England v Chile and was really interested to watch Salas who Utd were reportedly keen on. Wasnt a great match and a minute or so before halftime got my cousin to come with me to beat the queue to get a drink. Guess who scored the only goal which we missed! Cousin always happy to remind me.

When I was young I shouted to my late and much older brother to come as I needed him. He came to see what I wanted and he missed Bobby Charltons rocket against Portugal in the 66 World Cup. He used to tease me about that for years and I remember even though it is coming up 55 years!

I was a baby and woke my dad up when sheringham equalised in the 99 final apparently. Thankfully they brought me down to watch what they thought would be extra time 😂.
