Hope you're all well boys and girls and have a great Easter ahead.

Just wanted to gauge views on Ronaldo and potential return to United. Personally I thought it was a pipe dream that would never happen. There's clearly potential discussions with Juve about Pogba though and his agent looks to be angling for a move away from Turin.

The obvious stumbling block would be reported £500k+ pw wages but, accepting over half of that would be offset with no longer paying Pogba, and not least our need for a top class striker, could the stars align to make such a move possible?

Predominantly a left winger I appreciate but could play any of the front 3 positions and is as 'born winner' as they come.

It would be a wet dream for Woodward and the marketing boys too.

A lot will be made of his age at 36 and clearly a short term fix though with his incredible level of fitness it's possible there's still a few more years left in the tank yet.

I don't think it fits with Ole's profile of younger players but that said true world class players are thin on the ground.

{Ed077's Note - Ronaldo isnt predominantly a left winger anymore.}

Short term is an understatement. The EPL is massively faster and more physical that Serie A, whilst Ronaldo is clearly a physical freak, I’m not sure it’s what we need.

Get him back in, I don't care if CR7 is 65 he always has the right to come back for that No.7 shirt.

James Milner is 35, Billy sharp is 35, Jamie Vardy is 34 and this is the GOAT that we are talking about.

When we signed Sanchez from Arsenal, I thought he would bring an ethos to the club, with a Barcelona attitude and work ethic. This obviously didn't happen. I do however believe that CR7 would bring a whole new meaning of work ethic to the training pitch. Can you imagine Martial walking around with the greatest footballer to ever live shouting at him to move?

I do believe this all still a pipe dream though. I think ronny moves back to Portugal for one last season, or PSG put together a deal so he can add that Ligue 1 title to his trophy cabinet.

Watching him with Portugal and Juve recently he is very much on the decline in regards to his impact on the game on the ball but still scores like a machine.
I'm with you AjH. But I'd not be at all disappointed either.
His presence alone would or should inspire everybody else I agree with Jonaldhino.
I also agree its a complete pipe dream.
