Anyone else sick to death of games spread out like they have been. Seriously today's fixtures in the prem are abysmal, all Live.
Please just stick 5 games on sat at 3pm again allow fans the choice to watch what they want live if they must via a red button or whatever.
Saturated with live games all spread out ober every day nearly feels like there is no switch off, I've literally no interest in any of it bar United and they test your patience most of the time.
Last weekend was lovely, F1, Rugby Union, last 6 nations game, no prem was nice, spoiled a lot by the boredom of international footy but a welcome break in the relentless prem schedule.

{Ed077's Note - think of other regions as well. Like Asia or Africa. Not every place has a "red button" option.}

Ed077, surely for Asian and African countries having the games spread out causes more issues with timezones and everything. Watching a live match at 2am can't be fun, but if you have to stay up all night to watch all the games then that must be worse?

{Ed077's Note - true but people can watch their team play if all games are shown. If there are 5 games kicking off at ones, 3-4 games wont be shown, meaning fans will look to streaming options(illegally).}

Yh I've kind of in agreement, at first during lockdown it had a great novelty value and was a welcome distraction.

But having games like (burnley vs west brom) or (crystal palace newcastle) with their own defined slots feels a bit unnecessary now.

Still find it quite funny some geniuses at premier league club board level thought people would pay £15 to watch such games on pay per view as if burnley west brom was some sort of world heavyweight championship boxing match.

Get what you mean Ed but if the games are played at 3pm, say 5 of them, and your teams playing with an actual option of watching Live then do that if every game must be live that is. Like today from midday to 9.30pm games on, way way too much, and that's basically most days now especially weekends, just prem that aswell, not even looked at other fixtures.

{Ed077's Note - too many games are being spread out I agree. But having 5-6 games Kickoff at once is also too many IMO. You could have had Southampton-Burnley and A.Villa-Fulham at the same time I agree. And I dont like Monday night football as well.}

Ed077, I get that, I just think many people are feeling a little jaded with the whole football experience during the C.V.

I'm finding I am watching less football as I feel the level of quality has dropped slightly, and without fans in stadiums games on TV are lacking atmosphere and intensity.

I fully expect it to impact viewing figures for the Euro's this summer.

Maybe a better solution is rather than spread the games out, is to invest in better viewing platforms around the world so things like picking which match to watch via the "Red button" is an option for everyone.

{Ed077's Note - Not having fans means you need to be fully invested to actually watch a game(not just have it on TV whilst actually doing something else).}

I agree there are too many games but I kind of understand that all the teams need the money at the moment with no fans and little other revenue coming in.
After all, it is still up to us whether we watch a game or not, on the red button or not. Sky, BT and Virgin won't mind because they are still benefitting from our cash. I get that fans in other countries have less options and probably it may be the highlight of the week.
The main problem is that the pundits have to generate the interest.
There are no fans therefore no atmosphere. City are nailed on for the title. United are just trying to win or at least not lose games. Very few people are interested in who is top 4 and who gets relegated,
Hopefully next season things will return to normal and so will the interest level.

Can’t believe football fans are complaining about too much football on TV. If you don’t like it watch something else.

Yesterday we had Chelsea v West Brom, Leicester v City then Arsenal v Liverpool it was a fantastic day of premier league football.

I actually like watching all the other teams. We get to see players play the full 90 minutes so we can judge them properly and not just rely on a few minutes of highlights on MOTD. I’ve enjoyed watching Villa to get a better look at Grealish, West Ham for Rice, the likes of Leeds and even Brighton and Fulham all play decent football. I personally have absolutely loved all the footy on tv and watch every game where I can.

You can still watch the rugby, F1, cricket or golf and the masters is on next week.

First world problems or what? Jesus lads, people will literally moan about anything. If you don’t want to watch the games then how about maybe just not watching them?

Ah yes, forgot, not allowed to air an opinion on this site. Nothing about 1st World problems are not watching its just a topic I raised, I for one am fed up of the saturated nature of footy atm, its a turn off for me, if you want to watch then that's your opinions and that's fine.
