I am pleased we won, but last night was one of the worst, most boring games I think I have watched since Sexton was manager. I believe Ole has been manager 5 games less than Mourinho, yet put that performance out last night, something Mourinho was utterly destroyed on here for. Lame and cautious, I nearly fell asleep during the game, something I have never done, I even considered switching off it was that bad, maybe I need to drink gallons of alcohol to watch an Ole team.

I also understand that Ole discussed tactics for how to beat Grenada with the Molde manager.

Is this progress? Really.

{Ed077's Note - Well at least we were relatively solid defensively and Granada didnt create that many clear cut chances, and neither did we. (If what I said is incorrect then I must have dozed off lol)}

This match was reminiscent to LVG days. Just awful football.
Even some of the hardcore United fans would have fell asleep.

Only positive is the 2 goal cushion which means hopefully Rashford and Bruno can be rested for the return leg.

I still don't see a vision from our coaching team. What are they doing in the training ground?

Well Red Man you are getting on in years now, random bouts of tiredness isn't unusual at your age.

I was also recently told some pearls of wisdom from a family friend in his 60's.

He said when you get to his age, you should never pass a toilet and never trust a fart😂

The joys of getting old eh? 🤣.

Just a typical Utd performance. This is the new Utd and how they play.

It is difficult to watch Utd play these days.

Maybe ext season will be different, or the one after that.

I think Utd are in for a bit of a wake-up call in the semi final assuming they get there. They got hands-down the easiest tie this time but there won't be any hiding from now.

It's a typical solid away performance in Europe.
Clean sheet away goals don't over exert yourself at this stage.
I think people like to look for negatives.

We did what we needed to do last night, without getting out of second gear. There was no rhythm in the game- partly down to the ref imo.

I remember plenty of dreadful performances away from home in Europe under SAF- its the result that matters in cup/ knockout football, not the performance.
