I wonder if any of the eds can shed a light on the players contract scenario if we had continued with the esl. If their were clauses for champions league wins and we were no longer in it through the clubs esl decision, could the player claim breach of contract?

Sorry for not being clear if there was a win bonus in the contract for winning the champions league and the club pulled out of the competition could the player claim breach of contract and leave? I know its hypothetical now but just curious.
