After reading the usual clickbait regarding the transfer business of utd this summer, there is conflicting accounts on Cavani leaving, staying etc. Would you try and keep him another season or part ways and spend (probably big money) on a replacement?
Personally would let him go with a handshake and thanks as I believe he has reasons to be away and there is not a long term solution with him at utd.

It depends on who we're targeting as a replacement. I'd rather keep Cavani than sign a player like Andre Silva for example as I don't think he'd improve us and isn't as good as Cavani anyway. However, if it's let Cavani go and we will target Harry Kane then it's a different story.

When fit, Cavani has been one of the best in the league.
Amazing professional with a great striker's instinct.

I see him leaving as he wants to stay close to his family. Even his father reiterated the same.

Would love Cavani to stay one more season. But he often looks (understandably) frustrated by the lack of quality around him. I think he can't be bothered at his age scratching around waiting while Rashford wastes attack after attack blasting pointless shots into defenders legs or row Z.

Johnny, bit harsh on Rashford who has been one of the most consistent players in the league this season despite playing the majority of games half fit. If I had to pick one of the two for a first 11 it would be Rashford all day every day and twice on Sunday.

Not many seem convinced by Silva. Not seen much myself, but I suspect opinions will shift if he ends up taking the golden boot from the Euros. I've had a sneaky punt on Portugal (9/ 1).
