So the media are already depicting todays protests as a riot, showing the hooliganism from a small number and also pictures of injured police. You then also have people like souness stating 'they didn't protest when they were winning' this sentiment being echoed by others. You also have fans angry that their bank holiday entertained was cancelled.

Let's get this straight, there was idiots there today as there always is in large gatherings, but there was also families, kids, old people all protesting the right way. Ed and his media mates will want to detract from the real reason by showing the violence. The argument about us not protesting before is crap as in both 2005 and 2011 there were anti glazer movements, quickly drowned out as they were becoming uncomfortable for the board. The fans have had enough, they have a right to show that against owners who have taken 1.5bn out of the club and tried to put us in the ESL to line their pockets.

United have spent money but that has been earned by them to spend, not a penny of glazer money has been put into stadium development, training ground development, infrastructure in the local area and they barely put any in to buy the club in the first place.

Today was an inconvenience, got worldwide viewing and hopefully is the start of the United fans showing the owners how they feel, don't be made to feel you aren't a real fan or told to pipe down. don't let the negative images from the media distract you. the real bad guys are the GLAZERS and today the fans showed that they have had enough. If we forfeit games, if we get fines, if it's a huge issue with sky etc then GOOD.

This is about more than one game or this season this is about the future of the football club we love. keep the protests going (without the violence) 👏👏

Rant over.

A minority of idiots vs a swell of peaceful protests but of course the media glamorous the minority.

The agenda is already being set. Sky are laughable also, last week they were championing the fans fight against the evil owners now the fans don’t really have a reason and have never complained before. all because it ruined their tv viewings. Biggest BS merchants out there.

Dont blame the media, it was the gathering of the masses that gave a chance to the 'idiots' to take advantage of the situation and display their stupidity. I blame the protestors, media will show what sells, and in this case what they showed wasnt fabricated, it happened, if everyone stayed home, we would have watched a game! More than half of the protestors attended as a result of being 'locked down' for so long and needed to vent and not for the alleged love for United!
