Last night was an embarrassing mess. A huge chance to beat your main rival and dump them out of the CL for next season and we blew it with a limp display. I am actaully furious still.
Henderson- getting a bit of stick I think, yeah at fault but plenty of players I'd point at before him, young lad, let him grow.
Bailly, Lindelof are just not good enough and the fact everyone says we miss Maguire says it all for me, we don't have any CBs that'll take us places. Axel not good enough sorry to say.
Wan bissaka is improving, I like him but often has the headless chickens about him.
Shaw while going forward is better is still awful at the back.
Fred I wouldn't have at Wrexham, terrible player.
McTom I like but squad player at best.
Those above all need upgraded if we are serious about winning more than 2nd rate cups.
Bruno our best players is diving about screaming like a girl, just stop embarrassing yourself.
Pogba again we need more, don't see the world class in him at all is better when better players are about him playing well.
Rash gets defending presumably cz of his Mary Poppins routine off the pitch, he's been very average for a year, let's not hide behind oh he's injured mantra.
Martial, won't waste my words.
Cavani, top class, type of character you need.
Greenwood needs to be starting each week.
Matic on as predicted, is it worth Donny owing a pair of boots in Manchester, 1 game in a much changed line up and he's out again cz he's not won us the game.
All in all, we need to get out of this mediocrity mindset we have all convinced ourselves is progress and good enough, we came up against a decent team not at their best and they wiped the floor with us.
We will be fighting for top 4 next season when the others improve unless we get rid of the average players and replace them with better and its as simple as that.
We prob still need 5 players and demote others to squad players and we need a manager and recruiter and scout and coached and the mentality that are winners.
Sorry for the rant but let's not get carried away that we have closed any sort of gap, big Summer for us, if Ole believe Maguire, Fred and Rashford Will win us the big pots then we are still in huge trouble.

WRD, the only player I'd disagree with you about is Shaw. I make him our player of the season, but he was atrocious last night - as were they all. Rashford appears to be completely immune to criticism, and only ever gets over the top praise. Everything he tries and fails is described by lazy commentators and pundits as an "audacious attempt" - I'd just describe it as a "failed attempt".
AWB is the worst footballer on the ball I have ever seen at elite level. No right winger is going to prosper for us with AWB on the same flank. Fortunately, he is also probably the most precise tackler I've ever seen. If only that was all that's required of a full back
Fred I have seen some improvement in before last night, but it's only improvement that takes him close to the minimum required level, and that's not good enough. Boundless energy - but again, if only that were all that's required of a midfielder. He needs to go, but you can be sure he will start in the EL final
Completely agree re Maguire. Not many of us rate him highly, and yet the rest are so poor that we were shambolic without him
We all know what the minimum requirement for new players is (CB, DM, RW), so let's see the new men at the club rise to the challenge of getting them.

I would never understand why and how did Fred got into manchester United. People like him because he runs a lot, to me as CRUYFF said, you don't have to run if you are well placed.
Fred has awfull first touch and terrible decision making.
I celebrate as if we score a goal every time Ole subs him and even more the few times he is not in the starting 11,it means he olay without the handicap of 10 men.

How are our stats with and without fred? I would guess better with him by a long shot. It is a joke how people speak about him on here, he is a far better player than people give him credit for.

We lost a dead game. Liverpool needed to win desperately. Utd didn't. No point going at individual players too much, it was a flat team performance.

Ole wanted to win the game he said it all along, excuses to say otherwise. We was bad and goes to show how short we are against the better teams and Liverpool wasn't at their best either btw. In a way I'm glad we had this rude awakening because hopefully it'll show we need to improve a good deal yet further.
As for calling Fred out and players, why should they be immune for average performances over a long period of time, they get paid to play at a high level for a top club, if they don't perform for period as long as they have they should be called out. Fred is simply not good enough to play for Manchester United, not is Bailly, Lindelof, Scotty Mac, probably Maguire, Shaw and Rashford also, don't get why these guys can get away with sub par performances, well I do, they are English, we won't be at the top table with these players playing regularly for us.

Would you mind listing Freds strengths . not being a smart arse but say out of 10. what you give him for passing, tackling, shooting, creating opportunities, reading the game . just 5-6 categories?

I wouldn't give him any higher than a 6 in any of them and he's in a team battling to win the league, play in the CL etc etc - been in PL 3 years?

Fred is vital for our team, Ole made him vital before he prefers energetic players like Frednand Mactominay rather than technically players like Donny. That doesn't make Fred a good player, important to the team yes, but not good.
We are a reactive team, as such reactive players will be vital to our defending and that's what wrong with this team. We care too much about opponents that we play a high energetic-non technically gifted-player to help us restrict oppositions.
