Watching Pogba for France, works hard tracks back, shouting at his teammates.

Going forward looks very good and finds some amazing passes.

Talent isn't the problem it's his application and desire to do the same for his club team.

Letting him go for free maybe a silly move financially but for the team I really do think it's for the best and we won't have to fit him In the team anymore.

It's time for him to go, he hasn't wanted to be here for a while and keeping him means building the team in such a way as to accommodate him as he doesn't have a natural place in our side.

Also I think international football is slow and many teams are disjointed due to the ever changing line ups and the limited time they get to train and play together. As such it's much easier for a player to standout as an individual. Players like Pogba aren't pressured, as much in international football, and they get more time on the ball. As such they look like better players.

We see it at every international tournament, a couple of players have a "breakout" tournament, get a big move then flop as they are unable to maintain that international form at club level.

Big V, what I take from the France matches as much as anything is the difference a true HM alongside him (either Kante or Tchouaméni) . As I have said previously If he stays just invest in this type of player and stick with them.

With the right blend of world class players around him Pogba can be world class, but he will never be a top defensive midfielder being prone to losing the ball in bad positions, he doesn't tackle well, is overly moody and is not a leader whether he shouts at his fellow team mates or not. Bringing in Ronaldo and Sancho means we have a surfeit of forward going players. So now Pogba doesn't get to continue in the position that best suits him at United, and where he was very effective in the first few games. I would have preferred to spend what it takes for a Declan Rice or someone of that ilk, left Sancho in Dortmund and let Ronaldo go somewhere else. Bad management.

Our resistance to acquiring the level of players to replace the likes of Keane, Scholes and even Carrick over the last 10 years, including the latter part of SAF's reign, has been quite amazing.

Clearly Ole has instilled some responsibilities in him.

Ole has instilled lack of cohesion and tempo in the team

Lack of control too.

I don't think the manager gets the best out of any of our players.
Maybe with the exception of Shaw who has improved no other plaster has imo.
He doesn't challenge them enough they lack motivation and organisation.
You only have to see how they perform elsewhere.
Lukaku pogba Jesse dalot all have done better. I'd even argue Shaw like better for England than us.
He is just a really really poor man manager.

Problem with United, and many fans, is that they expect Pogba to do the work of Kante, Pogba and Griezmann at the same time.

I don't think that's true llv.
I think most expect him to work as hard a he can every time he takes the field and that does not happen.
I'm not sure he is suited to the epl and not suited to the role ole wants him to play.
He got thick with Jose when he demanded more from him. Its the one thing I supported Jose on in particular.

Hard when you can't focus on your own game and have to try and bridge the holes of others. Scholes was terrible defensively, couldn't tackle, but he didn't have to cover for the deficiencies of those around him, and he wasn't expected to either, he could just focus on his game. Pogba isn't expected to cover for others when playing for France.

It was interesting, when he lost the ball at the halfway line against Switzerland at the Euros and they scored, the French media, and the fans I spoke to, didn't blame Pogba, they blamed the five defensive players who were unable to regain possession.

It's fine having jack of all trade type players, but they rarely are world class, Pogba isn't one of those, so he needs a system that benefits his talents while covering his deficiencies, he finds such a system for France, he doesn't at United.

Quality player, simple as that. We are a much better team with him in the team than without in my opinion and so are france evidently.

That being said, i think the squad is easily in the best position its been to cope with him moving on when you factor in the creativity of bruno, sancho and rashford.

I have never really got the criticism of his ability or the criticism of him as a flawed character, seems like a humble guy with bags of ability.

Loads of ability DSG but not enough heart resulting in the lack of intensity which ultimately means in the round he is a pretty average player.

Pogba is not the problem, the manager, coaches and tactics are the problem. France were losing against Belgium few days ago, a couple of tactical tweaks and a rocket up the players arses, and France were transformed. That's what good managers like Deschamps do, they change the game to their advantage. Solskjaer and the plonkers around him, don't have that capability.
