I got to thank my wife for today. She took me shopping. I missed the match. I couldn't be happier to miss a game. Its a mess of a club. We should just relegate these bunch.

Haven’t see game today but sounds like I’ve not missed much.
Watching villa game and don’t know if he’s been mentioned but i matty cash has got to be worth a shout, good going forward, likes a tackle and can defend, could be a leader we need at the back.

Utter disgrace, now is the time to bench the lot of them and just give the under 23's the final 7 games.

Lay down a marker that the club won't accept a lack of effort.

It doesn't help that we have 5 players out of contract and about another 5 looking to leave this summer.

At this stage if you aren't looking to be part of the squad next season then nob off on holiday. Then those who do want to be part of the squad moving forward along with the academy lads should make up the squad for the rest of the season.

We aren't getting top four, we literally have nothing to play for. Might as well make a statement to the players that this club doesn't give easy rides and a quick buck anymore.

I’m leaning with Shappy. Watched that team today and it’s the same team that has got us 7th under OGS. Total waste of time.

As a Liverpool fan I appreciate the rivalry and banter between our clubs/ fans but find it hard to understand how players wearing your shirt can turn up week after week collecting their wage and turn in performances like that!
No fan of any club should be expected to pay good money for that in return.

It’s obvious that the players have zero respect for themselves or their reputations.

The defence wasn’t absolutely terrible, but that’s not saying much against this Everton side and Maguire’s clueless positioning cost another important goal. None of the 4 today are, in truth, good enough to be starting for a side that has ambitions to win the league.

In midfield, Matic has been past it since last season. Fred, is an average player. Pogba shouldn’t be anywhere near the squad. And Bruno looks like he’s phoning it in until the new manager arrives. Bringing Mata on is pure desperation.

Sancho is trying, but he’s struggling. Ronaldo is getting frustrated that chances aren’t being created for him and he’s too old to do much more than finish. Elanga is being asked to do too much for a young player. As for Rashford, his career is hanging in the balance. We’ve seen with Dele Ali that poor form can quickly become permanent, and Rashford genuinely looks like he may never be the player he was again.

Ultimately, the new manager inheriting a worse, more disfunctional squad than the one Ole started out with.

I wonder what on earth ten Hag must be thinking.
He’ll be leaving a successful side in his own model that could have just won another title, where he is worshipped every week - for this? Brave man. Money talks.

He’s not signed anything yet Spenno.

Spenno, my guess is that ten Hag has achieved all he could at Ajax, and he wants to take the challenge of a major club. More of a test to prove himself than the money. I see it as the confidence in his ideas to rebuild a once-great club. Hoping for the best.
