I've been wasting energy on thinking how best to motivate this bunch of pretenders and the only thing I can think of is to allow some of the fans access to the squad after a game. It would either put the fear of God up the players or embarass them into putting a little effort in.

The thought of selling them all and starting again isn't realistic, although that would be my first choice.

Where did it all go wrong.

You can't blame the Glazers for today's spineless performance. Ultimately its the players who actually kick a football run fight and work as a team on the pitch. Or it should be. Sure the manager and coaches have huge input but as fans we would forgive the players for a lack of basic quality if we see the really trying. That's nothing to do with the Glazers. It's a sad indictment of the lack of pride of the players.
