Nunez, De Jong, Torres and Timber look to be the 4 coming in. I'd be happy with that. 9 or 10 heading out most likely but given budget available and need to invest in quality think 4 players was always going to be the max we could bring in. Appreciate Van de Beek and Garner will be classed as new midfielders essentially and clearly we'd all have hopes that other youth prospects will be given first team chances.

No specific DM would be an obvious worry though possibility of longer game being played out for Rice?

Ten Hag has already said that getting back into Champions League is immediate target. He has to get a tune out of a number of players who've abjectly failed this season in order to do that. At last we know we have a manager who's well respected and a proper coach who'll get us playing attacking football again. City and Liverpool will remain lightyears ahead of us next 2 seasons but fight for Top4 will be a battle royale I think next year between ourselves, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and possibly Newcastle.

Where you getting this info from halesini?

Can’t see us getting both Torres AND Timber.

Also don’t think Nunez will sign considering the amount of clubs after him.

I think two mids is more likely than two CBs, and although CL isn't a necessity for lots of players I think Nunez will be looking for it. But far more than any player we've been linked with I would love to see de Jong come in. This orchestra needs a conductor. At the minute it's a litter tray with 11 turds floating around inside it.

There’s zero chance of all four of them coming in.

Timber as RB Pau as LCB.

I’d be shocked if we signed De Jong or Nunez.

We’re a clear step down for De Jong, and Nunez will have much better options.

I think supporters need to start recognising that Man Utd are no longer a top club and won’t be unless we rebuild via intelligent recruitment instead of throwing money at players who would prefer to be elsewhere.

I’d be surprised if we get any of them 4, why are you posting this as if it’s August and it’s happened?

One of them is on the verge GDS2. Apparently.

Spenno the key word there is apparently.

Yet to see anything from anyone I would trust suggesting any deal is imminent.

Good one halesini, you'll notice this was posted on banter and not rumours ?

Be astonished if those 4 come in. But if we get close, like that Liverpool fan should of, take the CASH OUT option ?.

I doubt any of those 4 are coming, I have doubts Torres is robust enough anyway. As others have mentioned we do have pulling power and pay big wages but Chelsea seem sorted now, Spurs getting at least 150 mill, even Newcastle will ruffle a few feathers -so we have to accept we are a top 6 team now, not even a good cup team - there is a price to pay for that drop in standards.

Agree will be happy if we get two of them.
We were lucky to finish 6th so potential players do not see MU as a step up at present with spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, MC are seen a better option.
We are in the mix for players with the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle, Aston Villa and even West Ham .
Once new manager and coaching staff have proved improvement on the pitch coupled with behind scenes positive changes expect our status to attract will improve next summer .
The good news is that players that do come want to actually play for MU and not mercenaries.

Timber is nailed on apparently. Only time will tell if he’s good enough though. Can’t be any worse than slab though…….
