Looks like Spurs are getting a great deal with Bissouma.

Good thing we are fully covered in central midfield and have no need whatsoever for someone of that quality in our mdifield.

Good player for the price. I am assuming nothing came from the allegations made against him if clubs are happy to try and sign him.

I would have stayed clear of him. We already have Greenwood with allegations against him, don't want to add more.

As a player it's a great signing for Spurs. I think the outcome of the investigation still hangs over him, plus he only has one year left on his contact. Which means Spurs have been able to pick up a bargain.

Indeed. Not a signing we should be pursuing in the current climate.

Definitely not for us. However, what concerns me is how Spurs are quietly going about their business. Perisic, Forster and now Bissouma in already with one more likely this week. Whereas we’ve been linked with every Dutch player who’s got a pair of legs……. yet can’t get a deal over the line of our lives depended on it. It’s not like we need a big overhaul or owt…….

Fireman its been like this since fergie and gill left,

Look at moyes we chased fabregas all summer and ended up with fellani

We have changed the structure but have the same issues which can only point to those above

Joel glazer. if he wants to be involved so much pay of the debt that you brought on the club and stop taking dividens for him and his family

Thought ten hag was brought in to re build? What are we re building exactly, don't give me the crap about the window just opening, we could have had players lined up ready

Levy isn't an idiot he wpuld have checked the situation with the player before making the signing

Meanwhile we are now in to another week of "talking" while teams around us pull further away.

{Ed077's Note - JG taking dividends isn't stopping us from completing the transfers, its the people he has employed that seem unable to negotiate transfer deals smoothly.

I was just adding that point in ed, he's quick to take money from the club why are we not quick to sort deals out.

These people this summer are all recently new into there respected roles but its the same issues as previous windows.

Why do we take so long to get transfers done, if new people are in charge of that aspect why has nothing changed.

{Ed077's Note - the more things change the more they stay the same. Till now I've only seen the name and faces of the personnel change in the club's executive position, but not seen much difference in club operations. I am not that fussed about us not getting players in, I am just perplexed we always seem so waste time on pursuing players that always seem a bit cold on a move to OT and get into long drawn out negotiations that eventually lead to nowhere. Surely we would have learned some lessons by now but it seems we haven't

It's early and I want to give them a chance, however you can't help feeling that promoting from within when the system they were part of was failing might not be the greatest idea ever.
