Fergie is obviously involved in the discussions that is going on with ronaldo and the club.

Is he there to pressurise the club into giving ronaldo what he wants or is he there on behalf of the club? Why is he there at all?!

If ronaldo stays and starts the 1st game of the season then i am done with supporting the club. if this happens we are no better off then we were when van gaal, mourinho, solskjaer started. it seemed the board was backing the new manager but if the ronaldo situation isn't sorted in the proper way (sell him or keep him on the managers terms not his) then ten hag is in serious trouble.

Fergie should have been out of the decision making process at the club as soon as he finished as manager.

According to Sky, fergie is there for a pre scheduled board meeting and is nothing to do with the Ronaldo meeting.

Course he is. it just happens to be the same day Ronaldo comes in with his super agent.
What a load of bs!

Fergie is on the board. Of course his input on such matters would be sought out. I'm surprised that's even a discussion point for some. What would be wrong is if he interfered in team selection, or pressured Ten Hag into keeping players he doesn't otherwise want.

How much say did Fergie have in Ronaldo coming back and how much say did Ole have?

Firstly do any of you have real confidence that any of our other strikers can guarantee 20+ goals this season because I am not.

I am fed up of people saying Ronaldo won't work for the team. I recall many matches last year when he was in the left back position defending and clearing attacks. He should not have to be. Its a waste of his talent. Give him proper service and he will score goals and more than that he is a team player and will assist others to score. Yes he is hungry for the ball. Yes he wants to be the main man but he delivers goals better than most players a d proved it last year in a poor team.

Why lambast him for wanting to perform at the highest level possible whilst he is still able. He came back to win things and play in the best competitions and he was let down by two poor managers and team mates who didn't apply themselves. He owes us nothing and in fact we shoukd be happy that he is setting the club and players the right example. Mediocrity will not do.
