I went to the game today.
It was a shambles from start to finish.

The players are well to slow on the ball and taking far to many touches and really doing some brainless stuff.


I've never seen players of that level play so bad.

ETH has a right job on his hands.

At one point, Shaw had the ball and Sancho looked to overlap, they outnumbered the right back and Shaw just slowed the play right down. Baffling stuff.
That was really really bad today.

It was woeful. I’ve never seen a side ponder and slow a game down like these lot. You’d be better off sticking 10 men behind the ball and playing for a 0-0 every week.

Admittedly we gave Brighton more space than the gave us but compare their one touch style to our pedestrian plodding. Every Brighton player knows where to move and where the players around him will move -then they execute quickly and accurately. They don't have any stars, they have a proper team of professionals. They sold two of their best players. and yet they continue with the same effective approach.
