Surprised we didn't go in for Ben Mee or James Tarcowski with them being on a free and cheap option.

I'm even more surprised we weren't in for Belotti aswell or even extended Cavani's contract.

Recruitment is becoming poor and desperate, its a recipe for disaster.

Along with that display yesterday I can't see how anyone be optimising going forward.

I doubt an extra year for Cavani was on the table, I think he wanted out as quickly as possible.

Was more tongue in cheek about cavani with the way the recruitment is run.

I'm sure Rabiot and Arnautovic won't have been on EtH's list but what do we know.

We all know that we need at least 4 more players this window to give us a chance of top 4 this season.

It's not good for sponsors or potential sponsors if we continue to linger outside the top 4. Which in turn will only hurt the glazers pockets but still wouldn't make them sell.

Hopefully Avram heard the boo's and the disgruntled fans after full time and backs the manager.
