What a monster finale to the season this all promises to be.
It's been a rocky season for us, from the dreadful opening few weeks to the ten Hag factor suddenly kicking in and propelling us into the top four for pretty much the entire season up to this point. Although there have been huge blips
against our closest rivals in recent weeks, we're in the top 4, are still in two cups and have already won the other. I think any Utd fan would have taken that at the start of the season?
Most of all the turnaround in attitudes, mentality and confidence has been nothing short of miraculous.
I can't yet say that we're the most exciting to watch, and our play is a little one-dimensional, but at least there's a plan and you can see what the manager wants to do.
I think we need 2-3 first-teamers and a few stronger supporting players before we can say we're a genuine threat for either the Prem/ CL, but I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in summer.
I hope we don't settle for Wieghorst or Sabitzer.
Would like to sell McTominay who can do a good job for a decent side and bring in an upgrade as the drop-off after Casemiro/ Eriksen is glaring and if Sabitzer stays I can't see a gap for another player in that position.
As for Wieghorst you can see how hard he tries and how desperate he is to impress. All it's proved is our need for a player of that ilk, but a more clinical one.

100% would have taken this at the start of the year. It's actually fun this year which is a relief if I'm honest. The last few years haven't been that enjoyable.

When Erkisen gets back we will see a large improvement and I feel we will close out the season strong.

And if you want to keep with optimistic view, the rest for Casemiro has come at a good time for him to be fresh for the run in.

If we end with the Glazers out of the club at the end of the season this year will go down as one of our best in a long, long time.
