Never have I seen so much analysis on a wall being 1 yard further back then the 10 yards! This is the level of punditry and journalism we have in this country now! It's had more scrutiny then some dodgy penalty decisions this season!

I reckon they said the words 11.2 yards more times than they said Bruno on match of the day, it’s pathetic. I saw on sky it said ‘controversial free kick’. Remember when Digne scored against us last year and our wall was about 14 yards away, I don’t remember quite so much discussion, wonder why.

If I was taking a free kick from that sort of position, I would try and slyly move it back a yard to give me a better chance.

It was ridiculous, Bruno moved the ball back slightly. Merino jumped forward about a yard anyway!

Don't see why it is even a talking point.
Football law states the wall must be at least 9.15 m (10 yds) from the ball, unless they are on their own goal line between the goalposts. The distance between the wall and the ball didn't breach the law of the game.
Just typical arsenal blaming anything but themselves when they don't get the result they want. They will be blaming the colour of the linesman flag next time.

Arsenal didn't bring it up and arteta dismissed it post match and rightly so. Just sky being sky.

To be honest I can’t believe more hasn’t been made of Raya’s positioning for the FK. He might as well of pointed to the gap and said “put it there mate”. FK was a good strike, but didn’t need to be anywhere near the post to go in which says it all.

Noticed there was an Arsenal stamp in real time, yet it didn't even go to VAR.
