Another 200 redundancies at Carrington with sports science, medical and scouting departments all affected.

Talk about kicking the club whilst they're down.

If the club can withstand another 200 redundancies does that not indicate a serious over staffing issue?

The thing is if they are overstaffed then fair enough espically if people in those jobs are not fit for purpose etc. it’s up to them it’s there business

Its not nice and I’ve been made redundant twice so know how people feel, but it’s life you move on as sad and stressful as it is.

But they then have to be the same ruthlessness with players that have and are underperforming for years.

Officially there were 1,100 employees last year when they cut 250, now another 200 this month means almost half the employees have been let go.

They said they would save £10million last year, so maybe something similar this year.

By comparison Rashford and Sancho loans would save £30+million in wages. So have we saved close to £40-£50million in the last year?

Just proves we didn’t need these people really. Have any of these people moved the club on. We’ve gone backwards in every department. Every scout should be looking over their shoulder.

Time will tell if they were needed, but like most big companies and worse still civil service it’s outrageously over staffed, with people going into work and not doing a lot, in fact these days they don’t even go in!

I don’t like SJR but not because he tight a*** penny pincher because don’t like way he operates, but running a company I can’t fault him on, it’s just that he is trying to run United in the same way, and United got much more outside attention and rightly so.

But let’s not kid ourselves United is not no local community club it’s not been that for decades.

The fag packet maths that’s taking place on hear is laughable.
