Rooney has been told man uniteds transfer plans in a bid to get him to sign a new contract. He knew a week before the mata bid was placed and will be kept up to date on new bids.

I never suggested Rooney was choosing the transfer targets! Read what was wrote and not what you want to hear!

It is a good read and I wonder if there is much truth to it.
Keeping rooney onside is a good thing but then others may feel why is he getting special treatment.

Pretty sure it's not allowed? Imagine if Rooney was told that Messi was coming to United, he MAY have friends that would make bets! It's close to insider trading and illegal, I think?

Complete rubbish if people think a club Like United will run their plans through wayne rooney or any other player for a matter of fact. The newspapers are just printing lots of bs at the moment.

He's probably been told that we hope to sign 4-5 players between now and the end of next summer, or the whole story could have been pulled from a dark smelly place.
