When is carrick due back from injury?

1.) 27 Aug 2014
He had surgery on his ankle ligament injury 6 weeks ago tomorrow (Thursday, July 17th), and was rumoured to be out 10-12 weeks.
So that has him returning at some point in October - depending on how quickly he rehabilitates.

2.) 28 Aug 2014
I work in a bar which many of the united players frequent, and Carrick was there for the bank holiday party we threw. He was still in a cast, so I wouldn't expect any time soon. Incidentally, Fellaini was there too and I didn't see them so much as look at each other the whole night. He was on the other side of the place with Everton players. Take from this what you will
